Lunch at Dora's in Bay End, New Jersey

by Rosemary & Theresa McQueen

Photograph of Rosemary McQueen It was a bright sunny day when Theresa and I decided to have lunch at Dora's restaurant in Bay End, New Jersey. That morning I started dressing about two hours before leaving for Bay End. It is only about a one half hour drive to Dora's. I would have preferred to wear a pretty dress, but we decided that it would be better to wear my blue capris with a matching blue top with white trim. After dressing I put on my makeup with a blonde wig. I also wore a red nail polish and my white female running shoes. I also wore my "curvee" padded panty that filled me out around my hips and derriere. On our bureau that has a large glass mirror we have our doll collection. We have porcelain face dolls, Madam Alexander Dolls, Barbie Dolls both the ordinary and the collectable kinds, etc. They look very cute on our bureau and I told Theresa that if grown men can have toy electric trains then Rosemary can have dolls. (I also have a collection of guns that I keep unloaded and locked in a safe).

The restaurant is located on a corner of the Main Street of Bay End and is in an old Victorian house where the downstairs has a soda fountain for the Summer crowd who comes in for ice cream etc. Bay End is at the top of Barnegat Bay and is a very nice town. It is also the Southern end of the Jersey Coast Railroad line that goes to Newark, Jersey City and Penn Station in New York City. The Ocean and beach are across the street and only a short distance away from the restaurant.
