From The Chair
In January, we plan to have a member of the Maryland State Police come and address us on legal issues such as what to do if stopped while driving en femme. Start thinking now of any questions you may have for what should be a very informative evening.
Following January, we have plans for meetings dealing with makeup application, photography or what to do both before and after to make those en femme photos to show off your best (Note: no photos will be taken of any individual unless that individual agrees to be photographed), the fashion show and brides night.
During our recent vacation, we visited Nova Scotia and PEI in Canada. One of our stops was the city of Halifax in Nova Scotia and specifically Fairview Cemetery in Halifax.
As you may know, it was Halifax where most of the victims of the Titanic sinking were brought and it is here where the largest number of these found their final resting place. It was something to be standing roughly 6 feet away from the remains of people who had perished in one of the largest technical mistakes of the 20th century.
The thought also crosses one's mind that we are still among the living, that in all to short a time we too will join them. So here we are alive. But while we are alive, we must live.
In discussions with many of you, it is obvious that getting dressed and presenting oneself enfemme to ones peers without judgment is a major essence of what we find as really living life. Therefore, I would encourage you to come out to the meetings, get dressed and enjoy life.
This newsletter is a labor of love for of our contributing editrixes.
Please join the staff by submitting your own insights into the world of cross-dressing.
