But, I'm sad to say, your Wild Rose team is losing an anchor that I have become wonderfully accustomed to having near. Rachel Boyd after five years of editing your "Rose" is stepping down. I will personally miss her leadership and guidance more than I can say.

I have discovered the same marvelous truth about writing that Rachel shares in her article "Extraordinary Journey" in this issue. That is, as we put our observations, thoughts, hopes, dreams, fears, visions, and little stories into words and share ourselves with our friends, we learn the most fascinating things about ourselves. We worry, we fret, we celebrate and we embrace who we are. I hope each of you will do some similar exploring and share what you discover with our readers.

Fortunately Rachel is not dropping off the face of the Earth and will still share her journey and friendship with us as a "regular" member of our chapter. Thank you, Rachel, for all you have done!

This newsletter is a labor of love for of our contributing editrixes.
