The Big Dance
My wife Theresa reminded me of when she was a bluish, green eyed redhead and a Prom Queen at St. Regis High School in New York. Sharla and Cynthia sat directly across from us and they looked elegant. I spotted Karen who had brought a new blonde wig for me that I had purchased from her. Karen of FemmeFever is the President of the Largest Transformation, Support and Everything Service for the TG Community.
John took a photo of Karen and me that may appear in this article depending how the photo came out.
Karen always looks beautiful, but I am not so fortunate.
I knew that Helen Boyd and Betty were there so I went looking for them. First I saw Barbara, Theresa and Sandi and they looked marvelous. I then saw Helen and Betty and they looked stunning. I told them that I had something for them for which I had to go out to my car to get. They came over to the FemmeFever table and met my wife Theresa. I quickly went to my car and brought back a complete copy of the February issue of The Wild Rose of the Chesapeake that I had printed out in color and placed in plastic protective covers. I also included a copy of the June 2003 cover where I was the cover girl. In addition, I included a picture of me in my "Jersey Girl" T-shirt that was taken in St. Martin or St. Thomas while on the March 2003 Dignity Cruise. Helen and Betty signed my copy of their book entitled "My Husband Betty".
Our conversation was very cordial and I told them that when I finished reading their book that I would tell them how I liked it.
From what I had read with my ptosis and cataracts I said that I had seen a lot of myself in their writings.
I then got up to disco with my friends Tina, Rochelle, JoAnn and others.
Rochelle and JoAnn had sat at our dinner table aboard the Royal Caribbean "Grandeur of the Seas" this past February and they looked very chic.
Since I was the designated drinker I limited myself to two glasses of merlot for the entire evening and consumed them early.
