Rosemary & Tina At The 50s/60s Dinner Dance
by Rosemary McQueen

I found Tina sitting with some of the same sisters that were at the September Fling and she did save a seat for me. We talked for a while, had a drink, then we went out on the dance floor to disco to the music of Lisa. Cynthia was there too wearing a short dress with very high heels. The dress looked like the British Union Jack flag and I warned Cynthia not to wear that on Saint Patrick's Day, especially in a Saint Patrick's Day Parade. Cynthia and Tina are well over six feet tall and little Rosemary feels so petite next to them. I am just a little girl!

Later in the evening after having an excellent buffet dinner, the Lip Sync Contest was held where several girls participated. The winner of this competition was Miss Crystal Frost. All of the girls looked like winners to me including Cynthia. Because they were running late the best-dressed competition was cancelled and will be held at the next Dinner Dance. I was already out the side door when I heard someone calling Rosemary. I quickly returned to receive a door prize of a CD. By this time Tina was ready to leave so we left together. Tina gave little Rosemary a nice sister hug and we departed.
