From the Editrix

by Barbara Van Horn

Photograph of Barbara Van Horn I’ve been writing a column on makeup for a few months now. I fearlessly and without remorse steal the best tips I can find. But getting specially tailored tips for our special needs is a real treat. This month Shana writes about Roxy’s unique tricks and tips. Armed with a new tube of Mary Kay "Dusty Rose" I tried out some of Roxy’s tips myself. The results are at the left.

I’m especially delighted to have two articles this month from Victoria Frost. This month she tackles the current administration’s view of support (or not) for Pride Month. If you have an issue for public officials (who doesn’t?) Vicky shows you how to make yourself heard.

These are actually very linked articles. Skill in expressing your "woman within" is best practiced in a society that embraces diversity in so many wonderful ways.

Lastly, this edition may look a little different. Ashley and I are working to make the Wild Rose more "web friendly", and that creates a whole new set of challenges. I admit I’m better with "Dusty Rose" than I am with html. Still we’re making progress that I think you will like.
